Not everyone needs the same eyelid surgery. The right approach depends on what is creating the tired, heavy or puffy appearance around your eyes.

If you are traveling for surgery, recovery is not something we leave for later. It is part of your surgical plan from the beginning.
During the first days after blepharoplasty, swelling and bruising are expected. I will give you personalized instructions regarding medications, care of the surgical area, activity and your postoperative appointments. There is no universal number of days that works for every patient.

For that reason, I recommend not booking the shortest possible trip based only on a recovery timeline you found online.

Is blepharoplasty safe?
