What is included

Three procedures, one surgery day

A Mommy Makeover combines the procedures that typically restore the body after pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding — done together, under the same anesthesia, in the same recovery period.

Tummy tuck component of a mommy makeover

Tummy Tuck

Removes loose skin after pregnancy, repairs separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti), and restores a flat, firm abdomen.

Breast augmentation or lift component of a mommy makeover

Breast Augmentation or Lift

Restores breast volume and shape lost after pregnancy or breastfeeding. Implants (Motiva or Mentor), breast lift (mastopexy), or both — tailored to your anatomy.

Liposuction component of a mommy makeover

Liposuction

Contours the areas that do not respond to diet or exercise after pregnancy: flanks, back, inner thighs, or upper arms. VASER & Microaire precision.

Your exact combination depends on what your body needs after pregnancy. Some patients need only two of the three. Dr. Daniela builds the surgical plan during your virtual consultation.

Why combine

Why combine procedures instead of having them separately?

Scheduling three surgeries over three years often means three anesthesias, three recoveries, three times off work, and three trips. A Mommy Makeover resolves this in one surgical day.

01

One anesthesia, one surgery day

Instead of being under general anesthesia three separate times, you complete everything in a single, carefully planned surgical day with board-certified anesthesiology.

02

One recovery period

14 to 17 days for a combined Mommy Makeover — vs. 10 to 14 days × 2 or 3 separate surgeries. You return to daily life with your children once, not three times.

03

Harmonic, proportional result

The body is sculpted as a single piece. Abdomen, waist and breast proportions are balanced together — not adjusted years apart with a different body shape each time.

Pricing

Mommy Makeover cost: Colombia vs. United States

The combined procedure costs 40–55% less in Medellín than the U.S. average — with the same board-certified surgical standards and JCI-accredited hospitals.

Mommy Makeover type Colombia (Dr. Daniela) U.S. average You save
Basic combo (tummy + breast)$7,500 – $10,500~$18,000~50%
Full combo (tummy + breast + lipo)$8,500 – $13,000~$22,000~50%
Extended combo (with BBL or facial)$11,500 – $15,500~$30,000~55%

Ranges reflect standard Mommy Makeover surgeries. Final price depends on complexity of each component, hospital, and anesthesia time. U.S. averages are based on aesthetic surgery reports (ASPS, RealSelf). A personalized USD quote is provided after your virtual consultation.

FAQ

Mommy Makeover frequently asked questions

How long after having a baby can I have a Mommy Makeover?
The general recommendation is to wait at least 6 months after giving birth and, if you breastfed, 3–6 months after stopping breastfeeding. Your body needs time to return to its new baseline. Most patients have their Mommy Makeover 9–12 months after delivery, though each case is evaluated individually.
Can I still breastfeed after a Mommy Makeover?
If you plan to have another baby and breastfeed, we typically recommend postponing the Mommy Makeover, since pregnancy and breastfeeding can alter the results (especially the abdomen and breasts). If you have finished having children, a Mommy Makeover will not compromise your ability to breastfeed for other reasons, but the breasts may never regain the volume surgery creates.
How long do I need to stay in Medellín for a Mommy Makeover?
Plan for 14–17 days. This covers pre-op evaluation (day 1), surgery + overnight hospital observation (day 2), recovery hotel stay with daily nursing and massage (days 3–10), and final clearance to fly home (days 14–17). Some extended combos (Mommy Makeover + BBL) may need 17–21 days.
Is it safer to combine procedures in one surgery?
When performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon in an accredited hospital, combining abdominoplasty + breast surgery + liposuction in a single surgical day is a well-established approach. The total operating time is carefully controlled, and the risk of complications is not higher than separate surgeries — in fact, you avoid three separate anesthesias and three separate post-op windows. Dr. Daniela evaluates each case individually; if combining is not advisable, procedures are staged.
How much does a Mommy Makeover cost in USD?
Typical USD ranges are $7,500–$15,500 depending on the combo (see pricing above). The exact figure depends on: which procedures are included, implant brand (Motiva vs. Mentor), amount of liposuction, and hospital. To get a personalized quote, book a $60 USD virtual consultation.
Can I travel alone or do I need a companion?
We strongly recommend you travel with a companion for a Mommy Makeover specifically. The first 5–7 days after surgery you will need help with small tasks (dressing, meals, walking). If you cannot travel with a companion, we can arrange extended nursing at the recovery hotel — let us know in your consultation.
What if I want to have another baby after?
Surgically, another pregnancy is possible after a Mommy Makeover. However, it will likely alter the results of the abdominoplasty and breast surgery — which is why we strongly recommend postponing the Mommy Makeover until you have finished having children. If you are unsure, we discuss options during the consultation.
